(1/18/2025) Marwood is our Basset Hound, and Polly is our Yellow Lab. They didn't really do this mix; it was actually me. Marwood and Polly are just dogs. They are, however, cool dogs with friendly personalities. It's funny to imagine them on the decks at Brighton Beach, especially if you know Marwood. I think Norman Cook would like them.
Anywayz, this mix is somewhat long, but holds its energy (I tried anyway). All of the material on here is pretty new (like the last few weeks or so), except for the chanson Rolling Stones cover at 01:52:13 (track 26), which is a very old song. Age wise, it's on par with Keith Richards' favorite underwear (I would guess). Also, track 38 is a Bronski Beat cover, but is still a new track.
Did a lot of mild remixing throughout (break bridging and such), but did give a few tracks a hard working over, and those are noted in the track list.
This would be a good one for blasting in a smaller club or basement with a lot of reverb coming off the walls--trippy echo chamber! Just hear it LOUD, in any case.
